Fuzzy Math & "49 States With Carry Rights"

I've had enough with journalist's bad math. Even if you're a supporter of the 2nd Amendment. Anyone who says that there is "only one state left that does not allow private citizens to carry a handgun" is a jerk. NJ is a fine example of a state wide no issue zone. Yes Jeff Muller finally did get a permit to carry but this is so far out of the norm it is statistically irrelevant. Just because a law is on the books doesn't mean your civil rights are available.

Even states like California, Massachusetts and New York have counties that behave as if they were shall issue. If you live in certain parts of those states you can get a carry permit. Los Angeles, Boston and New York City are examples of zones in those states that will not issue unless you are connected. New Jersey is different. There are no counties or towns that issue carry permits differently than the rest of the state.

So all knuckleheads on our side and all the garden variety dumb journalists out there, please do a little research. Count NJ as a place that does not allow its citizens to legally carry a fire arm. The cute maps that show shall issue, may issue and no issue do not tell the whole story.

Repeal the 2nd Amendment

So reports the Manteca Bulletin. Well that's how you do it. Repeal Amendments to the Constitution. It's been done in the past and it can be done with the 2nd Amendment. But, and it's a big but, if you don't ratify an Amendment to the Constitution repealing one, back off. Now we know that in some wacky places with socialist leanings (aka California) a dope like this can be elected. Good for them.

I had to look up Manteca to see where it was in relationship to, oh I don't know, say Berkley and it appears to be 70 miles east. I'm guessing that the district he is running in has sufficient plow and sickle influence to go that route and get elected. He may be ahead of his time or possibly a political prophet. Either way he is a dope and his kind needs to be robbed at gunpoint during a police layoff. That or move to Mexico or similar gun free zones, they love your kind. Hell, Al-Qaeda will help fund your campaign, they want us all unarmed as well. Bravo
